    "editor1": "<p>Nagpur, Dec 8 -&nbsp;Karnataka put up a solid batting display to take a massive 222-run lead against Mumbai on the second day of the Ranji Trophy quarter-final here on Friday.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nShreyas Gopal (80 not out) and wicketkeeper-batsman CM Gautam (79 off 111; 4x12, 1x6) starred for the Vinay Kumar-led side after opener Mayank Agarwal cracked 78 to post posted 395\/6 at close of play.&nbsp;<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nVinay Kumar -- who returned figures of 6\/34 which included a hattrick -- was batting on 31 at stumps.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nMumbai were skittled out for just 173 in the first innings. For hapless Mumbai, Shivam Dube was the only shining light, taking five wickets.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nIn another match, Bengal bowlers showed discipline to keep defending champions Gujarat on the backfoot after posting 354 in the first innings riding Abhimanyu Easwaran&#39;s 129.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nMedium-pacer B.
