इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट काउंसिल (आईसीसी) ने अपने आधिकारिक ट्विटर अकाउंट से 1 अप्रैल को एक के बाद एक कई ट्वीट किया। आईसीसी ने इसका हैशटैग रखा # CricketNotAsYouKnowIt यानी क्रिकेट ऐसा नहीं जैसा आप जानते हैं।
इस दौरान आईसीसी ने वर्ल्ड टेस्ट चैंपियनशिप को लेकर कई मजेदार ट्वीट किए। जिन्हें देखकर फैंस हैरत में रह गए। हालांकि आईसीसी ने ऐसा अप्रैल फूल के मौके पर किया, लेकिन इनका फैंस और कई पूर्व क्रिकेटर्स ने जमकर मजा उठाया।

आईसीसी ने सबसे पहले ट्वीट किया कि युवाओं तक क्रिकेट को ज्यादा से ज्यादा पहुंचाने के लिए टेस्ट चैंपियनशिप के दौरान खिलाड़ियों की जर्सी पर जर्सी नंबर के साथ उनका इंस्टाग्राम हैंडल में लिखा जाएगा।
