लुंगी नगिदी के समर्थन में उतरे हाशिम अमला, मैं हर उस इंसान के साथ हूं जिसका उत्पीड़न हुआ है

डरबन, 16 जुलाई| साउथ अफ्रीका के बल्लेबाज हाशिम अमला ने युवा तेज गेंदबाज लुंगी नगिदी द्वारा ब्लैक लाइव्स मैटर नाम के आंदोलन के पक्ष में बोलने पर उनका समर्थन किया है और कहा है कि वह हर उस इंसान के साथ खड़े हैं, जिनका उत्पीड़न हुआ है। नगिदी ने कहा था कि साउथ अफ्रीकी खिलाड़ियों को ब्लैक लाइव्स मैटर नाम के आंदोलन के साथ खड़े होना चाहिए।

अमला ने इस्टाग्राम पोस्ट में लिखा, "ब्लैक लाइव्स मैटर का हर किसी के लिए औचित्य है। क्यों?"

अमला ने लिखा, "इस्लामिक परंपरा में यह माना जाता है पहला इंसान एडम अश्वेत था इसलिए पूरी इंसानियत को इस गर्व करने वाली विरासत से संबंध है और इसलिए अश्वेत होने में किसी तरह की हिचक नहीं होनी चाहिए।"

उन्होंने लिखा, "यह उन लोगों के लिए चीजें स्पष्ट कर देती है जो सोचते हैं कि श्वेत, अश्वेतों पर हावी हैं या अश्वेत, श्वेतों पर हावी हैं, या एक राष्ट्रीयता दूसरी से बढ़कर है, यह सिर्फ भ्रम है। हां, यह सही है.. भ्रम के सिवाय कुछ नहीं।"

उन्होंने कहा, "हालांकि हम में से अधिकतर लोगों ने जिसमें मैं भी शामिल हूं, इस भ्रम का सामना किया है और हमारे पास बताने के लिए कई अजीब कहानियां हैं, इसलिए युवा लुंगी नगिदी का इसका प्रतिनिधित्व करना काबिलेतारीफ है। धन्यवाद दोस्त और उन सभी को भी जो अपने तरीके से इस काम में शामिल हुए।"

उन्होंने कहा, "मैं अपने लिए बोलता हूं और जो लोग इस बात को मानते हैं कि नस्लीय होना अपने लिए और समाज में हो रहे बदलाव के लिए दुखदायी है।"

उन्होंने कहा, "इस देश में कई उत्पीड़ित लोग हैं और पूरे विश्व में सभी रंगों, सभी तरह की जिंदगी जीने वाले लोग हैं, जिसमें क्रिकेट भी शामिल है। हालांकि काली चमड़ी वाले लोगों को बहुत कुछ झेलना पड़ता है।"

उन्होंने कहा, "सभी के लिए न्याय ही असल मायने में न्याय है, जो लोगों की जिंदगी में शांति ला सकता है बाकी सब दुर्भाग्यवश भ्रम है।"

उन्होंने लिखा, "तो क्यों अश्वेत लोगों की जिंदगी हमारे लिए मायने रखती है?.. क्योंकि हम सभी काले हैं (मेरे लिए)।"

उन्होंने इस पोस्ट में अपनी और नगिदी की फोटो भी लगाई है और लिखा, "मैं हर उस इंसान के साथ खड़ा हूं जो उत्पीड़ित है। मैं लुंगी नगिदी के साथ भी खड़ा हूं। यह फोटो उनके 2018 में किए गए पदार्पण की है।"

अमेरिका में अश्वेत शख्स जॉर्ज फ्लॉयड की पुलिस हिरासत में मौत हो जाने के बाद से पूरे विश्व में ब्लैक लाइव्स मैटर नाम के आंदोलन ने जोर पकड़ लिया है।

Waking up to 100s of messages on my whatsapp is a usual occurance especially with the introduction of whatsapp groups. Most of the time it's not serious stuff but I now know that being offline for a day(for whatever reason) can throw you into a storm unwittingly. Well... here's my (latest) weather report The Black Lives Matter (BLM) campaign has relevance for everyone. Why? In the Islamic tradition it is understood that the first man, Adam (peace be upon him), was of dark skin henceforth all of humanity have deep roots to this proud heritage and should have zero qualms in being refered to as black. This make it even clearer for the person who believes in their black lineage that the imagined superiority of whites over blacks or blacks over whites, or one nationality over another, is simply delusional. Yes that's right- nothing but delusional. However many of us, including myself have bore the brunt of these delusions and have crazy stories to tell which is why it makes it even more admirable to see exceptional youngsters like @lungingidi doing his bit to represent us all. Thank you brother and all those who stand up for just causes in their own way-publically and privately. I speak for myself and those who share this belief that the end product of being racist is only self destruction and social change. There are oppressed people here in this country and the world over, of all colours and walks of life, cricket included. However the darker skinned people have had the worst of it. Some may convince themselves otherwise but you have to ask yourself - are those who know the same as those who dont know? Justice for all is the only true justice that will bring peace and anything else is sadly delusional. So why is Black Lives Matter relevant for us ?... because we are all black (to me anyway).
