Mahanaryaman Scindia Unanimously Elected As Youngest-ever MPCA President
Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia: Mahanaryaman Scindia, the son of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, is set to be unanimously elected as president of the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA).
Though the election and subsequent declaration of the result is to happen during the association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, outgoing president Abhilash Khandekar confirmed to IANS on Monday that the new set of office bearers are to be elected unopposed.
At 29, Mahanaryaman, who also serves as vice-president of the Gwalior Division Cricket Association (GDCA) and is a member of the erstwhile Gwalior royal family, will become the youngest ever MPCA president since its establishment in 1957.

Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association: Abhilash Khandekar, the President of the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA), said it has extended Chandrakant Pandit’s tenure for the upcoming domestic cricket season. Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium: The BCCI’s decision to shift India’s first T20I against Bangladesh from Dharamshala to Gwalior on Tuesday evening marked the return of the city as an international cricket hosting venue. India’s T20I against Bangladesh on October 6 will be the first time Gwalior’s Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium hosts an international game. It will also mark the return of international cricket to Gwalior since the India-South Africa game in 2010, where the legendary Sachin Tendulkar became the first male cricketer to hit a double century in ODIs.
