    BCCI Announces Team India Squad For Asia Cup 2022; Kohli & KL Return While Bumrah Misses Out

    With the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 set to start on August 27th in UAE, BCCI on Monday (August 8th) announced the 15-man team India squad to participate in the tournament. This team if performs well in the Asia Cup T20 format, may be taken to Australia to participate in the T20 World Cup later this year. 

    Opener KL Rahul, who was out due to injury since the end of IPL 2022, will make a comeback in the Asia Cup. While former captain Virat Kohli, who was rested for the series against West Indies and Zimbabwe will also be seen in action in the Asia Cup.
