ODI World Cup: बांग्लादेश के पूर्व क्रिकेटर तमीम इकबाल ने बताया कि कप्तान नजमुल हसन शान्तो और चयन समिति ने उन्हें टीम में वापसी के लिए कहा था लेकिन, 35 वर्षीय खिलाड़ी ने अपने दिल की सुनी और अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट को अलविदा कह दिया।
इकबाल ने फेसबुक पर एक भावुक पोस्ट लिखकर अपने शानदार अंतरराष्ट्रीय करियर पर विराम लगाया। 16 साल से अधिक लंबे करियर में बांग्लादेशी खिलाड़ी ने विभिन्न प्रारूपों में 387 मैच खेले। उन्होंने 15,192 रन बनाए। तमीम बांग्लादेश के इतिहास के सबसे प्रतिष्ठित और शानदार क्रिकेटरों में से एक हैं।
