आईसीसी वूमेंस टी20 वर्ल्ड कप 2024 (ICC Womens T20 World Cup 2024) की शुरुआत 3 अक्टूबर से हो रही है और इसका फाइनल 20 अक्टूबर में खेला जाएगा। इस मेगा इवेंट की मेजबानी UAE कर रहा है। वहीं टीम इंडिया अपना पहला मैच 4 अक्टूबर को न्यूज़ीलैंड के खिलाफ खेलेगी। टीम इंडिया ने अभी तक एक भी बार टी20 वर्ल्ड कप नहीं जीता है।
टीम इंडिया ने वूमेंस टी20 वर्ल्ड कप 2020 के फाइनल में जगह बनाई थी। हालांकि उन्हें ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ हार का सामना करना पड़ा था। टी20 वर्ल्ड कप जीतने की बात कर तो वो सबसे सफल टीम है। उन्होंने 6 बार ट्रॉफी उठाई है। वहीं ऑस्ट्रेलिया टीम को लेकर टीम इंडिया की कप्तान हरमनप्रीत कौर ने कहा कि हम उन्हें किसी भी दिन मात दे सकते है। ऑस्ट्रेलिया और टीम इंडिया की वर्ल्ड कप 2024 में भिंडत 13 अक्टूबर को हुई थी।
