बॉक्सिंग डे टेस्ट : कोन्स्टास के डेब्यू की पुष्टि, हेड की फिटनेस पर फैसला बाकी
Boxing Day Test: युवा खिलाड़ी सैम कोन्स्टास बॉर्डर-गावस्कर ट्रॉफी के बॉक्सिंग डे टेस्ट में डेब्यू करने के लिए तैयार हैं। वहीं, स्टार बल्लेबाज ट्रेविस हेड का फिटनेस टेस्ट अब तक क्लियर नहीं हुआ है। यह अहम मुकाबला 26 दिसंबर से मेलबर्न क्रिकेट ग्राउंड पर शुरू होगा।
टीम के मुख्य कोच एंड्रयू मैकडोनाल्ड ने पुष्टि की है कि 19 वर्षीय कोन्स्टास अपना पहला टेस्ट खेलेंगे। वह एलन क्रेग, मौजूदा कप्तान पैट कमिंस और टॉम गैरेट के बाद बैगी ग्रीन कैप पहनने वाले चौथे सबसे युवा खिलाड़ी बन जाएंगे।
बाकी प्लेइंग XI का ऐलान क्रिसमस के दिन किया जाएगा, जब कप्तान पैट कमिंस अपनी प्री-मैच प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस करेंगे।
