New Delhi: भारतीय खेल जगत की हस्तियों ने पाकिस्तान और पीओके में आतंकी ठिकानों पर भारतीय सेना की एयरस्ट्राइक पर प्रतिक्रिया दी है। भारतीय पुरुष क्रिकेट टीम के मुख्य कोच गौतम गंभीर, पूर्व ऑफ स्पिनर हरभजन सिंह व सुरेश रैना उन पहले खिलाड़ियों में शामिल रहे, जिन्होंने भारतीय सेना द्वारा चलाए गए ‘ऑपरेशन सिंदूर’ की खुलकर सराहना की।
यह ऑपरेशन 6 और 7 मई की रात को अंजाम दिया गया। सेना ने 9 ऐसे स्थानों पर सटीक हमला किया, जिन्हें आतंकी गतिविधियों के लिए अहम माना जाता था। यह कार्रवाई पहलगाम में हुए आतंकी हमले (जिसमें 26 निर्दोष लोग मारे गए थे) के जवाब में की गई थी। अधिकारियों ने इसे “सोच-समझकर किया गया, संयमित लेकिन ठोस जवाब” बताया।
गौतम गंभीर, पूर्व क्रिकेटर व कमेंटेटर आकाश चोपड़ा और प्रज्ञान ओझा ने सबसे पहले सोशल मीडिया पर सेना की तारीफ करते हुए "जय हिंद" लिखा।
