मैथ्यू वेड समरसेट के लिए नहीं खेल पाएंगे काउंटी चैम्पियनशिप, क्रिकेट ऑस्ट्रेलिया ने बताया कारण

लंदन, 19 मार्च| ऑस्ट्रेलिया के विकेटकीपर मैथ्यू वेड इस साल काउंटी चैम्पियनशिप में सोमरसेट के साथ खेलते दिखाई नहीं देंगे। वेड घुटने में चोट से परेशान हैं। क्लब ने एक बयान में कहा, "क्रिकेट ऑस्ट्रेलिया ने न्यूजीलैंड के खिलाफ सीरीज के बाद कहा है कि वेड को चोट से ठीक होने में आराम की जरूरत है और इसलिए वो समरसेट के साथ नहीं खेल पाएंगे।"

वहीं वेड ने कहा, "यह बड़ा झटका है। मैं इस ग्रीष्मकाल में काउंटी क्रिकेट की चुनौती के लिए तैयार था, लेकिन क्रिकेट ऑस्ट्रेलिया की मेडिकल टीम के साथ चर्चा के बाद यह साफ हो गया कि मैं सोमरसेट के लिए नहीं खेल पाऊंगा।"
