ऑस्ट्रेलियाई क्रिकेट टीम के लिए एडिलेड में होने वाले तीसरे एशेज टेस्ट से पहले अच्छी खबर आ रही है। ऑस्ट्रेलियाई टेस्ट कप्तान पैट कमिंस को उम्मीद है कि वो शायद तीसरे टेस्ट में वापसी करेंगे और टीमोकी कप्तानी भी करेंगे। कमिंस पीठ की चोट से ठीक न होने के कारण पहले दो टेस्ट नहीं खेल पाए थे। कमिंस ने कहा कि वो फिजिकली बहुत अच्छा महसूस कर रहे हैं और प्रैक्टिस सेशन में पूरी ताकत से बॉलिंग कर रहे हैं।
हालांकि, उन्होंने बताया कि इस तरह की हड्डी की चोट के बाद मुख्य दिक्कत लगातार बॉलिंग करने वाले दिनों की कमी है। कमिंस ने माना कि उन्होंने काफी समय से लगातार दो दिनों तक बॉलिंग नहीं की है, जो टेस्ट क्रिकेट की तैयारी के लिए बहुत ज़रूरी है।
