South Africa Women vs Sri Lanka Women: महिला टी20 वर्ल्डकप के पहले मैच में साउथ अफ्रीका वुमेन को अपने ही घर पर श्रीलंका वुमेन के हाथों करारी शिकस्त का सामना करना पड़ा है। श्रीलंका टीम ने साउथ अफ्रीका को 3 रन से हराकर अपने पहले मुकाबले में जीत दर्ज करने में कामयाबी पाई है। टॉस हारकर पहले बल्लेबाजी करने उतरी श्रीलंकाई टीम ने निर्धारित 20 ओवर में 4 विकेट के नुकसान पर 129 रन बनाए थे।
श्रीलंकाई कप्तान Chamari Athapaththu ने सर्वाधिक 68 रनों की पारी खेली। वहीं Vishmi Gunaratne ने भी महत्वपूर्ण 35 रन बनाए। रनचेज के दौरान साउथ अफ्रीका की टीम शुरुआत से ही असहज दिखी और 72 रनों पर ही उसने अपने 5 विकेट गंवा दिए। 20 ओवर में अफ्रीकी टीम 126 रन ही बना सकी और इस महत्वपूर्ण मुकाबले को 3 रनों से हार गई।
