He proved his intense batting skills in his 100th IPL match as he thrashed 23 runs in an over against the dangerous wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav.
After RCB lost the first three wickets inside the first 7 overs, the scoreboard read 47/3 after 8 overs. Maxwell was batting on 24* from 19 balls when Kuldeep Yadav was brought in to bowl the 9th over. On the first delivery, Maxwell made his intentions clear as he smacked an 85.9 KPH delivery on the shorter side of the ground, between long-on and mid-wicket for a four.
