बीसीसीआई ने पहलगाम में हुए भयावह, कायराना कृत्य की कड़े शब्दों में निंदा की
Roger Binny: पहलगाम में हुए भयावह आतंकी हमले के बाद, जिसमें 26 लोग मारे गए और कई घायल हो गए, बीसीसीआई सचिव देवजीत सैकिया ने इस जघन्य और कायराना कृत्य की कड़ी निंदा की और साथ ही कहा कि शासी निकाय इस दुख की घड़ी में पीड़ित परिवारों के साथ खड़ा है।
सैकिया ने बुधवार को एक बयान में कहा, "पहलगाम में कल हुए भीषण आतंकी हमले में निर्दोष लोगों की दुखद मौत से क्रिकेट समुदाय को गहरा सदमा लगा है और वह दुखी है। बीसीसीआई की ओर से, इस भयावह और कायराना कृत्य की कड़े शब्दों में निंदा करते हुए, मैं शोक संतप्त परिवारों के प्रति अपनी हार्दिक संवेदना व्यक्त करता हूं और दिवंगत आत्माओं के लिए प्रार्थना करता हूं। उनके दर्द और दुख को साझा करते हुए, हम इस दुखद घड़ी में उनके साथ खड़े हैं।"
मंगलवार दोपहर को, जम्मू-कश्मीर के पर्यटन शहर पहलगाम से लगभग छह किलोमीटर दूर स्थित सुंदर बैसरन घाटी में आतंकवादियों द्वारा की गई गोलीबारी में 26 पर्यटक और स्थानीय लोग मारे गए, जबकि कई अन्य घायल हो गए।
