Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20: The two new franchises in the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20, Coastal Kings Mangaluru and Shivamogga Yodhas, made a splash at the season 5 player auction, securing the two biggest buys of the day in Karun Nair and Smaran R. Coastal Kings Mangaluru landed Karun for a tournament-high INR 18 lakh, while Shivamogga Yodhas snapped up Smaran for 15.75 lakh.
Hubli Tigers also made a major statement at the auction, acquiring Abhinav Manohar for 13.50 lakh, while Gulbarga Mystics strengthened their resources with the acquisitions of Manish Pandey for 12.75 lakh and explosive all-rounder Macneil Noronha for 12.25 lakh.
Mysore Warriors invested heavily in Chethan LR, acquiring the batter for 11.50 lakh, while Hubli Tigers matched that outlay to secure Mayank Agarawal. Kalyani Bengaluru Blasters landed all-rounder Shubhang Hegde for 11 lakh, while Coastal Kings Mangaluru secured Shreyas Gopal for 10.25 lakh.
