WPL 2025: Nothing Went Our Way Today, Says MI Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur
Harmanpreet Kaur: Mumbai Indians captain Harmanpreet Kaur admitted that her team had an off day as they suffered a crushing nine-wicket defeat against Delhi Capitals in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. "I think today was one of those days when things didn't go according to plan," Harmanpreet said after the match.
"We struggled to score runs in the first six overs, got some rhythm in the middle overs, but we were not able to continue that. 120 was never going to be enough against a good side. We did everything right in the last three games and are still in a good position. I would like to tell the team to just forget this game because there are more important matches coming up," she added.
Delhi Capitals, led by a masterclass from Meg Lanning and a disciplined bowling performance, made light work of Mumbai’s total, chasing down 124 with 35 balls to spare. Read More...
