The Rohit Sharma Stand was unveiled at the Wankhede Stadium on Friday evening, with the Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also in attendance.
Yadav, who is also Rohit's teammate with the Mumbai Indians, claimed that the mecca of Indian cricket, the Wankhede Stadium, is now 'even more iconic.'

The Mumbai Cricket Association: The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) successfully convened its 86th Annual General Meeting on Tuesday and unanimously approved the decision to rename Divecha Pavilion Level 3 as Rohit Sharma Stand, Grand Stand Level 3 as Sharad Pawar Stand, Grand Stand Level 4 as Ajit Wadekar Stand at the Wankhede Stadium.
