भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व हेड कोच रवि शास्त्री ने शुभमन गिल को 3 साल तक के लिए कप्तान बनाए रखने की मांग की है। उन्होंने कहा है कि शुभमन आगे चलकर भारतीय टीम को अच्छे नतीजे दे सकते हैं। शास्त्री का मानना है कि भले ही भारत इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ मौजूदा सीरीज हार जाए लेकिन शुभमन को कम से कम तीन साल दिए जाएं।
