AUS vs ENG Ashes Test: ऑस्ट्रेलिया के पूर्व कप्तान रिकी पोंटिंग ने खुलासा किया है कि ब्रेंडन मैकुलम की नियुक्ति से पहले उनसे इंग्लैंड टेस्ट टीम के मुख्य कोच की भूमिका के लिए संपर्क किया गया था। 2022 की शुरुआत में ऑस्ट्रेलिया में आयोजित एशेज श्रृंखला में इंग्लैंड की 4-0 से करारी हार के बाद, टीम प्रबंधन के भीतर महत्वपूर्ण बदलाव लागू किए गए। मुख्य कोच क्रिस सिल्वरवुड, बल्लेबाजी सलाहकार ग्राहम थोरपे और प्रबंध निदेशक एशले जाइल्स सभी को अपनी-अपनी नौकरियों से बर्खास्तगी का सामना करना पड़ा।
