ऋषि धवन ने सीमित ओवर के क्रिकेट से संन्यास लिया
Kings XI Punjab: हिमाचल प्रदेश के स्टार ऑलराउंडर और भारतीय टीम का प्रतिनिधित्व कर चुके ऋषि धवन ने सीमित ओवर के क्रिकेट से संन्यास लेने का एलान किया है। वर्तमान में विजय हज़ारे ट्रॉफ़ी में हिमाचल प्रदेश की कप्तानी कर रहे ऋषि ने यह घोषणा अपने इंस्टाग्राम पोस्ट के ज़रिये की। उन्होंने लिखा कि यह फ़ैसला भारी मन से लिया गया है, लेकिन उन्हें अपने करियर पर गर्व है और कोई पछतावा नहीं है।
ऋषि ने अपने पोस्ट में यह भी लिखा है कि यह संन्यास सिर्फ़ सीमित ओवर के क्रिकेट से है। इसका मतलब है कि वह खेल के सबसे बड़े प्रारूप में खेलना जारी रखेंगे। रणजी ट्रॉफ़ी के बाक़ी बचे दो मुक़ाबले में उनके हिस्सा लेने की उम्मीद है।
ऋषि ने भारत के लिए तीन वनडे और एक टी20 मैच खेला है। उन्होंने जनवरी 2016 में ऑस्ट्रेलिया के ख़िलाफ़ वनडे डेब्यू किया था। उसी साल ज़िम्बाब्वे के ख़िलाफ़ अपना पहला और एकमात्र टी20 मैच खेला। हालांकि उनका अंतर्राष्ट्रीय करियर लंबा नहीं चला, लेकिन घरेलू क्रिकेट और आईपीएल में उनका प्रदर्शन शानदार रहा।
