India end day one at 322/6 against Essex in practice match

July 25 (CRICKETNMORE) - India captain Virat Kohli struck a much-needed half-century as the tourists finished on 322 for 6 on the opening day of of their three-day tour game against Essex at Chelmsford.

Kohli made 68 from 93 balls including 12 fours before left-armer Paul Walter had him caught by Varun Chopra.
