The second wave of covid-19 in India has gone bad to worse in the last few days which has created a bit of panic and nervousness among the players, especially foreigners, participating in the ongoing IPL 2021.
A total of eight players - R Ashwin, Andrew Tye, Kane Richardson, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood, Josh Philippe, Mitchell Marsh, Liam Livingstone - have already opted out of the tournament due to the tension surrounding the IPL bio-bubble here in India.
