बर्मिघम, 1 जुलाई (CRICKETNMORE)| विकेटकीपर महेंद्र सिंह धोनी एक बार फिर आलोचकों के निशाने पर हैं। इस बार वह रविवार को इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ एजबेस्टन में इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ खेली गई पारी के कारण निशाने पर आए हैं। आलोचकों का कहना है कि उनकी पारी में लक्ष्य को हासिल करने के लिए जरूरी तेवर का अभाव था।
इंग्लैंड ने एजबेस्टन में खेले गए इस मैच में भारत को 337 रनों का लक्ष्य दिया था। भारतीय टीम 31 रनों से यह मैच हार गई थी। धोनी इस मैच में 31 गेंदों पर 42 रन बनाकर नाबाद रहे, लेकिन इस मैच में धोनी की रणनीति पर सवाल खड़े किए जा रहे हैं।
हार्दिक पांड्या के 45वें ओवर में आउट होने के बाद भारत को आखिरी के पांच ओवरों में 71 रनों की जरूरत थी। ऐसे में सभी की निगाहें धोनी पर थीं क्योंकि वह लक्ष्य का पीछा करने में माहिर माने जाते रहे हैं।
