स्मृति मंधाना, शेफाली वर्मा 'आईसीसी महिला प्लेयर ऑफ द मंथ' के लिए नॉमिनेट
Smriti Mandhana: भारत की सलामी बल्लेबाज स्मृति मंधाना और शेफाली वर्मा को जुलाई 2024 के लिए आईसीसी महिला प्लेयर ऑफ द मंथ पुरस्कार के लिए नॉमिनेट किया गया है। भारतीय ओपनिंग बल्लेबाजों के अलावा के साथ-साथ श्रीलंका की कप्तान चमारी अथापत्थु को भी इस पुरस्कार के लिए नामांकन मिला है।
बाएं हाथ की सलामी बल्लेबाज और भारत की उप-कप्तान स्मृति मंधाना ने जुलाई में टी20 में 139.28 की स्ट्राइक रेट और 68.25 की औसत से 273 रन बनाए हैं। उन्होंने जून 2024 में आईसीसी महिला प्लेयर ऑफ द मंथ का पुरस्कार भी जीता था।
मंधाना ने जुलाई में भी शानदार प्रदर्शन जारी रखा, जिसकी शुरुआत चेन्नई में दक्षिण अफ्रीका के खिलाफ एकमात्र टेस्ट में उनके करियर की सर्वश्रेष्ठ 149 रन की पारी से हुई। उन्होंने शेफाली के साथ मिलकर पहले विकेट के लिए 292 रन जोड़े, जो महिला टेस्ट में पहले विकेट के लिए अब तक की सबसे बड़ी साझेदारी है।
