Afghanistan To Host Bangladesh, Zimbabwe For Multi-format Series From Oct 9 In UAE
BCB CEO Nizam Uddin Chowdhury: Afghanistan Cricket Team will host UAE and Bangladesh for a multi-format series in the UAE in October-November this year, featuring a one-off Test against Bangladesh, an ODI Tri-Nation Series involving all three teams, and a three-match T20I series followed by a two-match Test series against Zimbabwe, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) said on Tuesday.
Afghanistan will first play a single Test with Bangladesh from October 9 to 13. This will be followed by an ODI Tri-Nation Series involving Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe from October 17-23, with each team playing the other once before the top two teams meet in the final on October 23.
Following the Tri-Nation Series, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe will contest a three-match T20I series, with the matches scheduled for October 27, October 29 and November 1. The two sides will then meet in a two-match Test series, with the first Test scheduled for November 5-9 and the second Test from November 13-17, 2026. Read More...
