Mohammed Siraj: दक्षिण अफ्रीका के कप्तान डीन एल्गर का दूसरे टेस्ट मैच में टॉस जीतकर पहले बल्लेबाजी करने का फैसला गलत साबित हुआ । भारतीय गेंदबाजों ने दक्षिण अफ्रीका को पहले दिन बुधवार को लंच से पहले मात्र 55 रन पर ऑलआउट कर दिया जिसमें भारत के तेज गेंदबाज मोहम्मद सिराज ने घातक गेंदबाजी करते हुए सबसे ज्यादा 6 विकेट लिए।
भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम को सेंचुरियन में खेले गए पहले टेस्ट मैच में बुरी तरह से हार का सामना करना पड़ा था। सीरीज में 1-0 से पिछड़ने के बाद भारत की नजर दूसरे टेस्ट में वापसी पर थी, जो काफी हद भारतीय टीम ने हासिल कर ली है।
दूसरे टेस्ट की पहली पारी में दक्षिण अफ्रीका 55 रन ही पर ऑलआउट हो गई। यह दक्षिण अफ्रीकी टीम का भारत के खिलाफ सबसे छोटा स्कोर भी है। केप टाउन के न्यूलैंड्स स्टेडियम में दक्षिण अफ्रीका 23.2 ओवर ही बल्लेबाजी कर सकी। भारत से तेज गेंदबाज मोहम्मद सिराज ने नौ ओवर में 15 रन देकर 6 विकेट झटके।
