ICC महिला टी20 वर्ल्ड कप 2026 का आगाज शनिवार, 12 जून से होने वाला है जो कि इंग्लैंड और वेल्स में खेला जाएगा। गौरतलब है कि इस बड़े टूर्नामेंट के शुरू होने से पहले श्रीलंका की टीम में एक बड़ा बदलाव हुआ है। दरअसल, लंकाई स्क्वाड में अचानक से एक ऐसी खिलाड़ी की एंट्री हो गई है जिसने अब तक अपना टी20 इंटरनेशनल डेब्यू भी नहीं किया।
खुद ICC ने फैंस को इस खबर की जानकारी दी है। उन्होंने अपने आधिकारिक बयान में बताया है कि श्रीलंका की 17 साल की स्पिन गेंदबाज़ शाशिनी गिम्हानी लोअर बैक इंजरी के कारण पूरे वर्ल्ड कप टूर्नामेंट से बाहर हो गईं हैं। श्रीलंका ने गिम्हानी की रिप्लेसमेंट की भी घोषणा कर दी है और 24 साल की दाएं हाथ की मध्यम गति की गेंदबाज़ चेतना विमुक्ति को स्क्वाड में जगह दी है।
