आईपीएल 2026: पथिराना-हसरंगा ने एसएलसी को अब तक नहीं दिया फिटनेस टेस्ट
ICC T20 World Cup: श्रीलंका क्रिकेट (एसएलसी) ने पुष्टि की है कि मथीशा पथिराना और वानिंदु हसरंगा उन 15 श्रीलंकाई खिलाड़ियों में शामिल हैं, जिन्होंने अब तक सेंट्रल कॉन्ट्रैक्ट के तहत अनिवार्य फिटनेस टेस्ट नहीं दिया है। इनके अलावा, 6 अन्य खिलाड़ी ऐसे हैं जो कम से कम एक बार इस फिटनेस टेस्ट में फेल हो चुके हैं।
कुल 45 अनुबंधित खिलाड़ियों में से अभी तक सिर्फ 24 खिलाड़ी ही इस टेस्ट को पास कर पाए हैं। जिन खिलाड़ियों ने अभी टेस्ट नहीं दिया है, उनके कारण अलग-अलग हैं। इनमें कुछ चोटिल हैं, जबकि कुछ को लॉजिस्टिक समस्याओं का सामना करना पड़ा है।
हालांकि, सबसे ज्यादा ध्यान हसरंगा और पथिराना पर है, क्योंकि दोनों को इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग (आईपीएल) 2026 में खेलना है। हसरंगा लखनऊ सुपर जायंट्स (एसएसजी) और पथिराना कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स (केकेआर) का हिस्सा हैं। ऐसे में, उनकी फिटनेस और टेस्ट क्लीयर करना बेहद अहम हो जाता है, क्योंकि इसका सीधा असर उनके आईपीएल और अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट शेड्यूल पर पड़ सकता है।
