लॉर्ड्स आईसीसी महिला टी20 विश्व कप 2026 के फाइनल की मेजबानी करेगा
T20 World Cup: आईसीसी महिला टी20 विश्व कप 2026 का फाइनल 5 जुलाई को लॉर्ड्स में आयोजित किया जाएगा, इसकी घोषणा गुरुवार को प्रतिष्ठित लंदन स्थल पर एक लॉन्च कार्यक्रम से पहले की गई, जिसमें ब्रिटिश महिला खेल के कुछ शीर्ष नाम शामिल होंगे।
आईसीसी ने एक बयान में कहा, "लॉर्ड्स, जो 2017 में इंग्लैंड और भारत के बीच आईसीसी महिला क्रिकेट विश्व कप के रोमांचक फाइनल का स्थल भी था, आईसीसी महिला टी20 विश्व कप 2026 के लिए पुष्टि किए गए सात स्थलों में से एक है, जिसमें ओल्ड ट्रैफर्ड क्रिकेट ग्राउंड, हेडिंग्ले, एजबस्टन, हैम्पशायर बाउल, द ओवल और ब्रिस्टल काउंटी ग्राउंड शामिल हैं।"
यह टूर्नामेंट 12 जून को शुरू होगा और 33 मैच तथा 24 दिन बाद लॉर्ड्स में समाप्त होगा। इस टूर्नामेंट में वैश्विक महिला खेल का सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन होगा तथा महिला क्रिकेट को मुख्यधारा में लाने का प्रयास किया जाएगा।
