On World Sports Journalists Day: Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya and International Cricket Council (ICC) chairman Jay Shah on Thursday extended their wishes to the sports media fraternity on the occasion of World Sports Journalists Day, recognising the invaluable contribution of journalists in promoting sport, celebrating athletes’ achievements and connecting millions of fans with sporting action across the globe.

Fit India Champion Pawan Mann: From the capital city to the peaceful landscapes of Dehradun and nearly all districts across the country, fitness enthusiasts participated in the 61st edition of Fit India Sundays on Cycle (SOC) at close to 1000 locations. The FIT India Movement was launched on August 29, 2019, by the Honourable Prime Minister to make fitness a vital part of daily life. Its goal is to promote behavioural changes and encourage a more active lifestyle.

Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue: Fit India’s flagship fitness initiative, Sundays on Cycle (SoC), made a lively return in the national capital on Sunday. Over 1,000 participants, including 500 Young Leaders, joined a fitness festival followed by a Cycle Rally, despite the 6-degree winter cold at 7 am. The rally was led by Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya, with tennis legend Leander Paes, badminton star Pullela Gopichand, and emerging international wrestler Shivani Pawar among the attendees.
