T20 WC: ऑस्ट्रेलिया की पूर्व कप्तान लीसा स्थालेकर का मानना है कि यूएई में होने वाले आगामी महिला टी20 विश्व कप जीतने के लिए भारत की संभावनाएं बहुत ज़्यादा हैं। उन्हें यह भी लगता है कि 3-20 अक्टूबर तक होने वाले इस टूर्नामेंट में भारत को अच्छी शुरुआत देने के लिए सलामी बल्लेबाज़ शैफ़ाली वर्मा और स्मृति मंधाना पर बहुत कुछ निर्भर करेगा।
विश्व कप में भारत को ग्रुप ए में गत चैंपियन ऑस्ट्रेलिया, न्यूज़ीलैंड, पाकिस्तान और श्रीलंका के साथ रखा गया है। हरमनप्रीत कौर की अगुआई वाली टीम अपना पहला महिला टी20 विश्व कप खिताब जीतने का लक्ष्य लेकर चल रही है।
