Amelia Kerr Appointed As New Zealand Women’s New All-format Skipper
ICC T20 Champions Trophy: New Zealand all-rounder Amelia Kerr has been appointed as the New Zealand women’s new captain across all formats. She takes over from Sophie Devine, who stepped down after last year’s Women’s ODI World Cup in India and Sri Lanka.
The 25-year-old, who has already played 172 international games, will commence her leadership journey through the upcoming series against Zimbabwe starting later this month. Amelia has previously stood in as New Zealand’s captain in limited matches but now takes on the role in a full-time capacity.

New Zealand ODIs: Ahead of their first ODI against New Zealand on Wednesday, England Women have handed a maiden call-up to South-East Stars seamer Ryana MacDonald-Gay. The 20-year-old has played for England Under-19s and England A. She is currently the leading wicket-taker in this season's Rachael Southeast-Flint Trophy, with 12 at 11.75 and a best of 5 for 31 from four matches. She will join up with the team in Durham on Tuesday.
