भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के स्टार तेज़ गेंदबाज़ जसप्रीत बुमराह चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी से बाहर हो गए हैं लेकिन उनके बाहर होने के बाद एक मीडिया रिपोर्ट सामने आई है जिसमें कहा गया है कि वो चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी 2025 में भाग लेने के लिए फिट थे लेकिन भारतीय चयनकर्ताओं ने टूर्नामेंट के लिए तेज गेंदबाज को जोखिम में नहीं डालने का फैसला किया।
बॉर्डर-गावस्कर ट्रॉफी के अंतिम टेस्ट के बाद से ही बाहर चल रहे बुमराह को आगामी आईसीसी इवेंट के लिए फिट होने के लिए संघर्ष करना पड़ रहा था। इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ़ होने वाली वनडे टीम में शुरू में नामित किए जाने के बाद, तेज गेंदबाज को तीसे वनडे से बाहर कर दिया गया और वरुण चक्रवर्ती को शामिल किया गया।
