इंग्लैंड और न्यूजीलैंड के बीच गुरुवार से लॉर्ड्स में पहले टेस्ट मैच की शुरुआत हो गई है। यह बतौर अंपायर रॉड टकर का 100वां टेस्ट मैच है। इस उपलब्धि के लिए इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट काउंसिल (आईसीसी) ने ऑस्ट्रेलियाई अंपायर को बधाई दी है। इस मौके पर आईसीसी के पूर्व टेस्ट अंपायर इयान गोल्ड ने उन्हें एक क्रिस्टल ट्रॉफी भेंट की।
रॉड टकर क्रिकेट के इतिहास में 100 टेस्ट मुकाबलों में अंपायरिंग करने वाले चौथे अंपायर बन गए हैं। इस लिस्ट में अलीम डार (145), स्टीव बकनर (128) और रूडी कोर्टजन (108) उनसे ऊपर हैं।
