ये पूरी घटना भारत की पारी के 33वें ओवर में घटी। इंग्लैंड के लिए ये ओवर तेज गेंदबाज़ साकिब महमूद करने आए थे जिनकी तीसरी गेंद पर श्रेयस अय्यर ने एक करारा ड्राइव शॉट मारा। श्रेयस के बैट से टकराने के बाद ये बॉल गोली की रफ्तार से बाउंड्री की तरफ जा रही थी कि इसी बीच वो एक सीगल पक्षी को जोर से लगी।
