आईपीएल 2026 के आखिरी लीग मुकाबले में दिल्ली कैपिटल्स (डीसी) ने बेहतरीन प्रदर्शन करते हुए कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स (केकेआर) को 40 रनों से हराया। जीत के साथ टूर्नामेंट का अंत करने से डीसी के कप्तान अक्षर पटेल खुश नजर आए। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले तीन मुकाबलों में टीम ने जिस तरह का प्रदर्शन किया, उस पर उन्हें गर्व है।
केकेआर के खिलाफ मिली जीत के बाद अक्षर ने कहा, "मैं कहूंगा कि पिछले तीन मुकाबलों में जिस तरह से हम खेले, तब भी जब आपको पता था कि चीजें ठीक नहीं चल रही हैं, उसके बावजूद जिस तरह से टीम ने लड़ाई लड़ी, मुझे उस पर बहुत गर्व है। किसी ने नहीं सोचा था कि हम बस हार मान लेंगे और सोचेंगे कि हम पहले ही बाहर हो चुके हैं।"
