UAE To Host T20 World Cup From Oct 17 To Nov 14 Says Report

The T20 World Cup will commence on October 17 and run till November 14 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), according to a report. Some of the initial matches will be played in Oman.

While the remainder of the suspended 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL) ends on October 15, the T20 World Cup will begin two days later with eight teams - Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland, Namibia, Oman, Papua New Guinea -- fighting for four spots in Super 12s, according to a report in espncricinfo.com.
